OBJECTIVE

The role of Application Specialist is responsible for providing technical and clinical support on Dermatology and Aesthetic Medical Devices throughout the sales process and support promoting medical devices to customers, demonstrating device specifications and performance features, and controlling its parameters in accordance with the vendor's Manual and specifications.

Responsibilities can range from pre sales demonstrations to post sales training and installation along with end user support including onsite visits to drive more proactive customer engagement to products.

They must be knowledgeable about medical device data interfaces in order to provide customer and hands-on support for products with optimum operation, smooth navigation, and control.

An application specialist will report directly to the specialty manager and work in collaboration with the commercial team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate high quality technical collateral that promotes the scientific capabilities of the products with an emphasis on providing a total solution for the customer and identify potential customers.
  • Serve as principal point of contact for customers with regard to the equipment's features and parameters queries/issues
  • Memorizing product features and presenting their functionalities to customers using applicable medical terminology.
  • Perform testing to evaluate new processes, and during new equipment's installation and its related software implementation
  • Exhibit product expertise during customer support and clinical training.
  • Work in coordination with the service unit team to determine nature of the clinical equipment problem.
  • Understands customers by proactively gathering information to learn about their needs and expectations
  • Create of reports on the results of demonstrations, regular feedback about the needs and level of end user's satisfaction.
  • Communicate customer information and problems as well as opportunities to sales team.
  • Collaborate with service team and quality assurance in determining equipment related problems root causes and set corrective actions.
  • Track vendor related issues from discovery to completion
  • Ensure that the Project Team maintains a high quality service and on time delivery of project outputs for the client
  • Follows established processes in order to efficiently deliver high quality service
  • Analyze competitor product and highlight our products features to customers.

Skills

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Degree in medical background with openness towards candidates from different background but with valuable and relevant experience.
  • Masters is preferred but not mandatory
  • Minimum experience: Overall 3 years of experience with 2 years in Dermatology and Aesthetic Medical Devices is preferred, or Specialist in the field of healthcare (nurse, physiotherapist, dietitian, dermatologist etc.)
  • Language and proficiency: Fluent in both English and Arabic
  • Computer proficiency level required: Advanced knowledge in MS Office suite
  • Effective communication skills in public speaking and strong presentation skill
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region as well as to worldwide trainings, sales meetings, events and tradeshows.
  • Valid Driver License
