Mindshare MENA part of Mindshare EMEA spans 11 offices across markets (Morocco Tunisia Egypt UAE Saudi Arabia Kuwait Bahrain Qatar Lebanon Jordan and Iraq) with local market teams and leads reporting into the MENA CEO. In addition to the Markets Mindshare also operates Centre of Excellence that works at a regional level to support and provide disciplines services to all 11 Markets. These Centers of Excellence include Corporate Development Digital and Solutions and Growth & Client Leadership. Role context & Overview: This is a senior position within Mindshare where youll have responsibility for running a global airline based in the MENA region with services scope focused on communications planning and media campaign implementation management by leveraging insights analytics and strategy skillset. There is frequent highlevel client contact and youll be the face of Mindshare to a major client. You will lead the client relationship while also being responsible for maintaining the quality of contracted services lobbying additional assignments as well as developing appetite for and building revenues from outofscope offerings and value add services. As Planning Leader you will be tasked with supporting management for the profitable and efficient running of the global account through the allocation of resources process and systems across the different markets. Responsibilities:
  • Build senior client relationships that positions Mindshare as a business partner of the client. Be unafraid to push back be audacious and stand your ground in terms of ideas.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of your clients business and the broader industry sector.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Global Planning teams at Mindshare who are based in key cities around the world.
  • Maintain strong applied understanding of the rapidly changing industry landscape and be able to advise clients and colleagues on key market developments and internal products and processes (e.g. Mindshares Good Growth narrative and the worldclass suite of GroupM technology and data solutions).
  • Build client satisfaction by soliciting feedback and operating like a consultant.
  • Navigate conversations with clients to ensure initiatives/briefs align with business goals.
  • Acts as a client visionary by bringing a highly valued perspective to the client based on a deep understanding of their business issues and opportunities.
  • Overall strategic approach on the account/s designed and delivered to meet clients business objectives and strategies.
  • Oversee the implementation of the annual planning in conjunction with the client team.
  • Generate and communicate a shared goal and unifies a team in the pursuit of a common objective.
  • Drive additional services in areas like Content Social Data Partnerships and Performance Marketing.
  • Foster innovative thinking and ideas with particular emphasis on content digital and technology innovation and the use of data.
  • Ensure the team produces quality awardwinning work that demonstrates original thinking that exceed clients briefs needs and expectations.
  • Ensure that the agency is up to date on aspects of media consumer and market trends through cross media analysis and tracking the competitive marketplace programme data and
preparation of relevant case studies and appropriate team or cross function briefings and training sessions.
  • Ensure account profitability and play a key role in assisting with new business activities applying original thinking to identify new media and new opportunities creating growth and added value to the client.
  • To recruit develop motivate direct monitor evaluate mentor and support reporting staff as required to fulfil the functional remit.
o Monitor their function and prioritise communicate assign or delegate responsibilities to direct reports to ensure the remit is achieving the required levels of performance and take whatever remedial action is necessary. Key measures of success:
  • Drive organic growth increase of 25% through the defining and delivering of a transformational scope of work product and services for the client; not limited to commerce social SEO website and mobile app development innovation and experience design and research.
  • Deepen Mindshares relationship with the client and achieve consistently high client evaluation scores (8.0) measured through an increase in TRR (or similar metrics).
  • Grow and develop a high performing team across different cities within the region to be measured through an increase in OHI (or similar metrics).
  • Produce award winning work across the account with annual submission to regional and global award festivals including the Dubai Lynx MENA & Global Effies Festival of Media & Cannes.
Candidate Experience:
  • The ideal candidate will be viewed as a thought leader across the brand building data & technology landscape including performance digital ecosystems digital transformation analytics and digital innovation.
  • The Planning lead should be able to manage high work volumes set a workflow process and manage the teams time to deliver on the agreed SLAs.
  • The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the assigned clients industry sectors and business challenges with experience in Travel & Tourism and Government Practice.
  • Previous experience recruiting managing and inspiring a client team.
