As a Warehouse TeamLeader, you will be responsible to ensure rapid, efficient and safemovement and storage of stock according to desired temperatures sothat it is in the right place at the right time to maximize salesopportunities whilst maintaining highest quality of the stocks andminimising stock shortages, breakages and other materials handlingcosts.
You will assist the Warehouse Officer in SOP implementation,container receiving, planning, effective resources organisationwhilst briefing the team on forward plans and periodical safetybriefing.
You will also be responsible for handling operations in asatellite warehouse without supervision whenever needed You willalso be responsible for, but not limited to- Ensuringproper pallet labelling and picking of stocks is in accordance withexpiry dates and vintages in order to minimize stock losses.
- Ensuring all stock receipts are correctly recorded inthe GRNs to eliminate errors in inventory; expiry dates of eachproduct are thoroughly checked and promptly recorded in theGRN's to prevent stock write-off oppurtunities, stocks arepalletised safely in accordance with company guidelines; correctlylabelled and bar coded; correctly stored in agreed locations andcorrectly handled to minimize breakges.
- Provideattention to warehouse equipment maintenance by service providerson a timely manner to ensure all equipment are in good conditionand causing no operational disruptions due to lack ofmaintenance.
