About the location:

seaside retreat in the heart of Qatars capital;experience the completely new Four Seasons Hotel Doha reimaginedwith modern grandeur and sparkling with sunlight and sea views.From the elegant lobby to energetic restaurants and lounges ourbeachfront urban retreat has been transformed into a vibranthotspot while remaining true to our Qatari roots. This stunningurban beachfront retreat opened in April 2005 in the heart of thebusiness district and has 237 rooms and 20 unbranded townhousesvillas a large Food and Beverage operation with 10 stunning venuesincluding the worlds largest Nobu restaurant significantbanquets/outside catering five pools and a private beach fitnesscenter and a spa and wellness center offering guests expansivehydrotherapy facilities including an ice room colour therapy roomsteam room and hydrotherapy pool. The hotel completed a beautifulrenovation in 2019 and reopened in March 2020.

Job Description:

  • Selecttrain evaluate lead motivate coach and discipline all employees inthe Hotels AllDay or Fine Dining Restaurant to ensure thatestablished cultural and core standards are met; daily activitiesand planning for outlet operation. (20%)
  • Theability to be visible in the operation provide recognition promotegood public relations and handle complaints concerns or specialrequests for guests clients and group contacts. (15%)
  • Describe and ensure quality of all food itemsingredients and preparation methods as well as provide expertknowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environmentdedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfastlunch or dinner. (15%)
  • Control labor andoperating expenses through effective scheduling budgetingpurchasing decisions and inventory and cash control. (10%)
  • Attend regular operational meetings to ensureeffective coordination and cooperation between departments. (10%)
  • Observe physical condition of facilities andequipment in the outlet and make recommendations for correctionsand improvements as needed. (10%)
  • Comply withFour Seasons Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standardsof Conduct as set forth in EmPact. (10%)
  • Workharmoniously and professionally with coworkers and supervisors.(10%)

PreferredQualifications and Skills

  • Previousexperience for at least 2 years in a similar role or supervisoryrole with a Luxury Hotel or Resort.
  • ExcellentEnglish language skills both written and verbal
  • College degree preferably in HospitalityManagement
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solvingskills
