Education: Engineering/ Master in BusinessStudies.

PrimaryFunctions

Perform procurement ofdifferent items including Capital Equipment Spares MRO andContracting of Services to support the QFAB business activities inaccordance with Companys policies procedures and ethical standardsto ensure that all procured goods & services are fromreliable & approved vendors at most competitive pricewithin budget complying with the technical quality safety anddelivery requirements.

Tasks andResponsibilities

  • Responsiblefor procurement of materials & services within company codeof business conduct and procurementprocedures.
  • Reviewrequisitions and coordinate with end users and other disciplines toensure materials & services required are in line with therequirement.
  • Estimatevalues according to knowledge of market price and price historyinformation.
  • Issue of RFQand confer with vendors to obtain product and service informationsuch as price availability and delivery schedule in accordance withcompany procurementprocedures.
  • Review bidproposals administer commercial bid evaluation and technicalclarifications closeout negotiate shortlisted vendors withinbudgetary limitations and scope of work vendor selectionrecommendation of award (ROA) / Buyer Notes issue of PO and obtainPO acknowledgement in accordance with company procurementprocedures.
  • Maintainpurchase order files in line with the procedures / workinstructions.
  • Preparetender committee reports in line with the procurement procedureswhen the budget thresholds areexceeded.
  • Ensure audittrail for procurementdocuments.
  • Maintainconfidentiality of procurement data in compliance with QFABguidelines.
  • Liaise withVendors to expedite delivery of materials and services within thepromised delivery date and initiate appropriate actions on PO withdisputes and / or pendingclarifications
  • Participatein the process of Goods Received Notes or Milestone CompletionCertificates for the goods and services and ensure MCC isdocumented in accordance with companyprocedures.
  • Reconcilediscrepancy between PO and Vendors invoice to ensure payments aredone on timelybasis.
  • Identify high valuespent materials and services for further recommendation to set upMaster Agreements and itsprocess.
  • Developreliable suppliers worldwide and maintain a vendor database forvarious commodities.
  • Visit vendors ona planned basis for the purpose of keeping abreast of theircapabilities new products and interfacing with their managementpersonnel.
  • Demonstrateexcellent communication skills while interacting with suppliers andcolleagues.
  • FacilitateSupplier Registration Process to register the potential vendors inSAP.
  • Facilitateperiodic Supplier evaluation process as per theprocedure.
  • Facilitatetimely Purchase Order Close Out.
  • Activelyinvolved in tendering & longterm supply agreement set upprocess.
  • Review usage oflongterm rental & supply agreement to recommend the budgetconsumption and/or alternative vendorarrangements.
