Brief Role Description:

  • To prepare and improve the standard operating procedures and manuals should be creative with extra mile initiatives.
  • To deliver the effective day to day operational management and requirements to the area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for the control, welfare and administration of those assigned to the business area.
  • To manage and ensure the compliance and performance of teh subcontractors are up to the requirements and standards expected.
  • To deal with maintenance issues, shortages in staff and equipment, renovations, etc. for hard services.
  • To overview the activities and operations of the soft services such as housekeeping, landscape, guarding, etc.
  • To draw up the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) policy making sure that it is suitable and understood by all personnel.
  • To ensure that the QHSE objectives are appropriate (planning and consistency of the QHSE Management System, effectiveness indicators) and ensuring that all the resources required to achieve them are available.
  • To review the accuracy of the CAFM report from engineering team to ensure compliance with the KPI.
  • To present the budget control report and effective control of the maintenance capital and operational budget.
  • To comply with the financial and audit control procedures for the project.

Experience and Skills:

  • 10 years' experience in similar role, at least 5 years' in Qatar.
  • An Engineering and Facility Management qualification with MMUP certification is a must.
  • Knowledge in QHSE, procurement, finance, cost control and commercial awareness.
  • Has in depth knowledge of QCCD requirements and approval.
  • Should have experience in operating any CAFM / CMMS Systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communicational skills both written and oral.
  • Must be fluent in English (both written and orally) preferably bilingual English & Arabic.
  • Must have knowledge and experience in Operational Budget preparation.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills in a multicultural setting.
  • Flexibility and loyalty to the business.
  • Holding a Qatari Driving license is a plus.
The salary includes the accommodation and transportation allowance.
