Apt Resources is currently seeking a Junior Cigar Sommelier with a passion for Cuban cigars to join the team of one of our clients in the luxury F&B sector.

As a Junior Cigar Sommelier, you will assist the Senior Cigar Sommelier in curating and maintaining a premium collection of Cuban cigars, providing recommendations to guests, and organizing cigar-related events.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about cigars and wants to further develop their knowledge and skills in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Cigar Sommelier in managing the collection of Cuban cigars
  • Learn and educate guests about different Cuban cigar brands, characteristics, and pairing options
  • Support in conducting cigar tastings and events
  • Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and occasion
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cigar lounge area
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in the cigar industry
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Passionate about Cuban cigars and the cigar culture
  • Basic knowledge of Cuban cigar brands and their characteristics
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with guests
  • Customer serviceoriented mindset
  • Willingness to learn and develop as a Cigar Sommelier
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
