Providing technical specifications preparation for newly acquiring dental, medical, and lab equipment/instruments, including biomedical lab equipment such as molecular, tissue culture, imaging, flow cytometry, mass spec, histology, among others.

Providing tender equipment evaluations for the equipment, coordinating with end users and other concerned parties.

Receiving the equipment, inspecting it, and documenting equipment identification data.

Labeling equipment with appropriate numerical tags.

Evaluating and assessing the performance of dental, medical, and lab equipment/instruments for quality, accuracy, and validation purposes.

Assisting in the preparation of in-services for dental, medical, and lab device demonstrations.

Coordinating and supervising manufacturer engineers for any equipment service contracts for preventive maintenance, breakdowns, warranty repairs, and annual calibrations.

Attending to all corrective maintenance calls or requests at any time.

Analyzing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions using electronic schematics, diagnostic testing equipment, and manufacturer's technical literature. Identifying faulty circuits, systems, and parts.


Ordering spare parts as per manufacturer's technical instructions, verifying stock updates, and coordinating with certified agencies for periodic calibration of biomedical test tools and equipment.

Keeping documentation updated.

Preparing equipment documentation and coordinating with dental, medical, and lab management for accreditation purposes such as ISO.


Monitoring and controlling maintenance/repair work orders, installations, equipment inventories, evaluations, and condemnations using the medical, dental, and QTRI management system or policies.

Frequently working in research and development projects.

Ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards.


Having experience in dental simulation units/dental virtual reality trainers, digital dentistry workflow, and related Dental software and technologies such as intra-oral scanners and desktop scanners, CAD, modeling, 3D printing/milling, and digital x-ray, as applicable to biomedical equipment support systems.

May operate and maintain audio/visual equipment.


Qualifications Bachelor or diploma in bio medical engineering;at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties andresponsibilities specified.


Languages:
Proficiency in Arabic and English, both writtenand verbal
