Teneo are looking for a Social Media Account Executive to join their busy Doha office to help serve clients across a variety of sectors.

Advisory; and People Advisory.

The role:


Teneo is looking for a talented and driven Senior Associate with a passion for strategic communications to join our Strategy and Communications team in the Middle East.

Teneo's Strategy and communications service offering provides all aspects of integrated communications counsel to business and government leaders and CEOs.

This role is part of a thriving team advising high-profile clients on how to create effective narratives, manage reputation, engage with key audiences and tell proactive stories which support clients' strategic objectives.


It's key for us that you can cut across sectors and switch seamlessly between all our disciplines, from reactive issues management to proactive storytelling.

As a Senior Associate you'll be responsible for providing the highest quality of service to our clients and play a pivotal role in driving forward activity across multiple account teams, delivering regular insight and analysis, and supporting clients' reputational and strategic objectives.

Senior Associates help mentor and coach Executives and Associates, and work closely with Vice Presidents. They report into our Senior Vice Presidents and Managing Directors.

Although this role is to primarily support our corporate and government communications clients, we actively encourage our people to grow and develop their advisory skills across all our disciplines, including financial and M&A, digital, creative campaigning and corporate communications, change and employee engagement, leadership coaching, sustainability, strategy and research, issues and crisis management, and restructuring and management consultancy, to solve complex business issues for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Content development:

  • Support content planning process.
  • Aligned with relevant campaigns and initiatives, plan and develop posts (static, video, reels etc.) across twitter/X, facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram including writing copy, sourcing imagery (if required) and delivering/coordinating design.
  • Create inevent content (live tweets/stories).
  • Coordinating complex design work with design team (templates available).

Community management and engagement


Actively identify, follow and engage with relevant accounts and news stories on specific topics, ultimately enhancing clients' opportunities to be seen by target audiences.


  • Liaise with client on recommendations and approvals.
  • Monitoring engagement on all accounts and recommend responses where appropriate.

Marketing

  • Recommend opportunities for paid promotional posts/campaigns
  • Where relevant, propose influencers to engage.

Monitoring and reporting

  • Create monthly report on social performance with recommendations
