ResponsibilitiesCollaboratewith a team of Dev Ops engineers to operate SaaScapabilities acrossmultiple regions on the cloud platformDesignimplement configure and utilize monitoring systems to monitorthehealth of SaaS products Manage infrastructureused for ArcGISVelocity respond to alerts and troubleshootproblems to resolutionDesign and implement thedeployment and upgrade containerizedmicroservice components thatwhen combined power Esris SaaSofferings Participate in technical spikeefforts bringing newinnovative ideas to future versions of oursoftware Troubleshoot thesystem incidents andprovide root cause analysis reportsProviderotational oncall technicalsupport Requirements 5years ofexperience managing Kubernetes (AKS EKS) logging andmonitoring (ELKPrometheus) and container technologies(Docker) Comfortable withYAML syntax (writing Azure Dev Ops pipelines andKubernetesresources) Ability to write scripts todeployinfrastructure and/or applications (Bash Python Golang)Expert level understanding andexperience with cloud computingplatforms (Microsoft Azure or Amazon EC2) Ability to work withcontinuousintegration and delivery best practices Abilityto writescripts to deploy infrastructure and/or applications (Bash PythonGolang Terraform) Working knowledge of asource control and issuemanagement system preferably Git Hub Bachelors in computer sciencecomputerengineering GIS or informationsystems RecommendedQualifications Masters incomputer science computer engineering GISor informationsystems5 years of experience designingadministeringand/or maintaining cloud environments such as Azuresupporting 247highavailability productionenvironments Interest in working withGit Opsprinciples to automate the deployment of applications onKubernetesclusters Knowledge of operating resilienthighly availablescalable and performance Saa Scapabilities Experience operating andmanaging Apache Kafka with highvelocity data Experienceoperatingcloud native storagesolutions Familiarity in deploying andoperatingreactive applications using Scala the Play frameworkandAkkaKnowledge of Esri ArcGIS or otherwebmappingtechnologies#LIDR5#LIHybrid The Company At Esri diversityis more thanjust a word on a map.
