GHD Advisory group has aphenomenal opportunity for an Advisor to join, support and driveforward our services in Qatar. This position offers the opportunityto support a varied range of innovative projects focused on drivinggovernment performance through the lens of policy, strategy,regulation, public administration/organizational development andsustainability. The Advisor will also contribute to the developmentof a growth portfolio in theregion.

CoreResponsibilities

  • Act as Project Manager on appropriateprojects
  • Technical delivery of discipline areaprojects and other Advisory engagements
  • Leadand/or provides inputs for tenders, bids and opportunity-relatedpursuits at an appropriate level
  • Works withExecutive and Senior Advisors to shape service offerings and formrelationships with potential clients with a focus on prioritymarket sectors for Advisory
  • Contribution toprojects across the broader advisory business asrequired.
  • Supporting other Advisory teams withinfrastructure-related investment advice, advice on operatingdecisions, and the delivery of projects and proposals associatedwith discipline area.
  • Building effectiverelationships within GHD
  • Coordinate teammembers on technical engagements
  • Preparingconcise, accurate and focused written analysis, recommendations andpresentations

Skills, Experience AndQualifications

  • Bachelor's degree:Business, Political Science, International Relations, PublicPolicy, Engineering (with experience working directly with Qatarigovernment or semi government partners), or related degreepreferred.
  • 5+ years of experience working onmanagement consultancy projects, such as; organizational design,operating model development, governance, strategy, sustainabilityand ESG, and/or similar disciplines within Management Consultancy.Experience working specifically with government clients and aprevious consultancy background in Qatar highlydesirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in ateam environment and with people across all levels in anorganization
  • Strong commercial acumen onprojects
  • Comfortable with significant clientinteraction and interest in establishingrelationships
  • Confidence to work effectively ina high-energy, fast paced environment
  • Excellentreport writing and presentation skills
  • Goodinterpersonal skills; e.g. relates well to colleagues, clients andbusiness contacts, and can influence to achieve positiveresults.
  • Strong client service focus,generating repeat business through excellent projectdelivery.
  • Excellent communication skills(written and verbal) that enable productive engagement andsustainable collaboration with colleagues andclients.
