Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry

  • Indepth knowledge and experience in Instrumental analysis using ICP-AES (Shimadzu ICPE9000), GCMS (Shimadzu GCMS QP2010 Ultra with HS20 Headspace sampler), GC-FID (Shimadzu GC2010 Plus GC/FID with AOC 20i Autoinjector), TOC/TN (Shimadzu TOC-LCSH/CSN with TNM-L and SSM5000 A unit).
  • Expert knowledge in the method development and validation of test methods for environmental tests.
  • Experience in the development and testing of environmental samples for VOC, BTEX, SVOC, PAH, Phenols, PCB, Pesticides, TPH, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of ISO 17025 auditdocumentations and procedures.
  • Competency in facing different ISO and Project audits.
  • Familiarity with Measurement of Uncertainty, QC Charts, Method Validation/Verification and SOP development.
  • Hands on experience in using Air and Noise monitoring equipment.
  • Overall responsible in Environmental Section.
  • Follows standardized procedures in performing the environmental tests.
  • Responsible in the implemetation of the QA QC programs.
  • Ensures that the laboratory equipment and glasswares are calibrated according to schedule.
  • Ensure that the laboratory chemicals, CRMs and reagents are available and updated.
  • Handle partially the procurement of laboratory items (chemicals, glassware, consumables
and equipment).

  • Records, analyze data and interpretation of results
  • Prepares standards or working solutions needed for the tests.
  • Maintain a tidy workplace
  • Other tasks that maybe assigned.

QAR4, QAR5,000.00 per month
