Job Overview
As a Commis Chef at Phi Fit, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations. You will work closely with our culinary team to prepare and cook high-quality meals. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a passion for food.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring, to ensure a smooth cooking process.
  • Cooking: Assist in cooking various dishes following established recipes and techniques under the guidance of the Head Chef.
  • Plating: Help plate dishes attractively, ensuring they meet our presentation standards.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and sanitized at all times, including equipment and utensils.
  • Stock Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory, including restocking ingredients and notifying supervisors when supplies run low.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary team to coordinate tasks and ensure a seamless flow in the kitchen.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in a culinary career.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining highquality standards.
  • Willingness to adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
