Role Summary:
:
The role is primarily responsible to implementand document, deliver and support the application by coding anddocumenting, testing, and maintaining the development of softwareprograms and applications as per the specifications provided by thedesignated systems analysts using the standard developmenttools

Role Description:
:
Carefully analyze possible software andapplication program changes to ensure congruence with the Group slong term planning and approved strategy.
Design, implement,document and develop applications as per the specified budget andplan.
Liaise with the concerned business for their informationrequirements and follow-up as and when required to answer theirbusiness needs.
Develop new applications as per user requirementsand the plan specified by the designated systems analysts.
Correctbugs and errors by making appropriate changes and then retest theprogram to ensure that the desired results are produced.

Conducttrial runs/ perform testing of programs and software applicationsto be sure they will produce the desired information and that theinstructions are correct.

Perform revision, repair, or expansion ofexisting programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to newrequirements.

Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, usingworkflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computercapabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic.

Write orcontribute to instructions or manuals to guide endusers.
Investigate whether networks, workstations, the centralprocessing unit of the system, and/or peripheral equipment areresponding to a program's instructions.

Prepare detailedworkflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, andlogical operation, and convert them into a series of instructionscoded in a computer language.

Use object-oriented programminglanguages, as well as client/server applications developmentprocesses and multimedia and Internet technology.

Abide by thePolicies and Procedures developed for maintaining the InformationSecurity for the Data Centre Operations and shall take on activeresponsibilities in achieving, managing and maintaining the ISO27001 standard.


Qualifications:
:
Bachelor s degree in ComputerScience.2+ years experience in financial services with aspecialization in application programming.
Experience inRDBMS.Strong programming skills in the development tools andlanguages.
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-makingskills.
Ability to identify need for change, adaptable and flexiblein anticipating and realizing improvement opportunities.
Excellentoral and written communication skills in English and ArabicTrainingcourses and certification in relevant programming languages.
Goodinterpersonal skills.
