Key Responsibilities:

1.

Customer Service:

  • Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product selection.
  • Answer customer inquiries about products, services, and promotions.
  • Ensure a positive and welcoming shopping experience for all customers.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally and promptly.

2.

Sales Transactions:

  • Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions securely and efficiently.
  • Ensure correct pricing and product information during transactions.
  • Issue receipts and provide change as needed.

3.

Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of products, including chocolates, cakes, pastries, flowers, and coffee offerings.
  • Provide detailed information about products to customers, including ingredients, preparation methods, and storage instructions.
  • Stay updated on new products and seasonal offerings.

4.

Merchandising and Display:

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining attractive product displays.
  • Ensure products are properly labeled and priced.
  • Monitor product inventory on the showroom floor and restock as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the showroom and display areas.

5.

Cash Management:

  • Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Prepare cash deposits and submit them to the Branch Manager.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues with the cash register to the Branch Manager.

6.

Order Management:

  • Take and manage customer orders for chocolates, pastries, cakes, flowers, and coffee.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation and delivery of customer orders.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and florist to coordinate order fulfillment.
  • Follow up with customers to confirm order details and delivery times.

7.

Cleanliness and Maintenance:

  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the showroom, including floors, counters, and display areas.
  • Ensure that all products are stored properly and that the display areas are tidy and inviting.
  • Clean and sanitize the cash register area, counters, and any other hightouch surfaces regularly.
  • Dispose of waste properly and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

8.

Supportive Roles:

  • Assist the florist with arranging and displaying flowers.
  • Help the kitchen staff with packaging and labeling products as needed.
  • Participate in special events and promotions as required.
  • Assist with inventory counts and control measures.

9.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Branch Manager.

10.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
