Monthly Salary

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team and oversee the efficient operations of our restaurant.

As a supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the restaurant by supervising and coordinating the activities of the staff, maintaining high standards of service, and cultivating a positive work environment.

Your leadership skills, strong organizational abilities, and excellent communication will be essential in driving the success of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff, ensuring they deliver exceptional service and adhere to established guidelines and standards.
  • Coordinate daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand.
  • Provide clear direction and assign tasks to team members, ensuring efficient workflow and prompt execution of duties.
  • Train and onboard new employees, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the menu, service standards, and restaurant policies.
  • Monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and ongoing training to enhance their skills and professional development.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, share feedback, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee the guest experience, ensuring prompt and courteous service, addressing any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special dietary considerations, to assist with customer inquiries and provide recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination between the front and back of the house, including food preparation, plating, and timely delivery to customers.
  • Monitor inventory levels of supplies, including food, beverages, and other necessary items, and communicate with management to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with sanitation and hygiene standards, and conducting regular inspections to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Handle cash and financial transactions accurately, including managing cash registers, handling deposits, and reconciling sales at the end of each shift.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement policies, procedures, and initiatives to improve service quality, employee morale, and overall restaurant performance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proven knowledge of restaurant operations, including frontofhouse and backofhouse procedures.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and management.
  • Strong problemsolving skills, with the ability to think quickly on your feet and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the hospitality industry.
  • A commitment to maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to ensuring compliance.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays or other items weighing up to 25 pounds.
