Qatar Aviation Services Cargo isrecruiting for Project Officer based in DohaQatar.

The Project Officer will be responsibleto administer projects including overall planning tracking budgettracking and documentation of one or several projects from theproject proposal phase to the project closeout within budget andtimeline. Act as the focal point between QAS Cargo and otherdepartment stakeholders by coordinating communicating andstreamlining project relevant data andinformation.

Operationalaccountabilities

  • Plan organize anddeploy Project Management Plans organize manpower equipment andfacilities to achieve delivery of QAS Cargo Projects ontime.
  • Provide indepth analysis into QAS CargoProjects and make recommendation to manage the projects fordelivery.
  • Assist assigned business project LineManager by preparing of analytical reports in order to benchmarklevels and propose positive changes oramendments.
  • Create scorecards reportspresentation slides in order to benchmark project development ongoing assigned projects conjunction with relevant agencies anddeliver all assign QAS Cargo Projects within budget andtimeline.
  • Monitors the work of projectpersonnel implements operating policies to ensure timely taskcompletion and prepares progress reports.
  • Leadthe project meetings and implement operating policies to ensuretimely task completion and prepare progressreports.
  • Prepare and produce plans and businesscases to justify the project cost and benefit to finance seniormanagement and cost management committee (CMC) in order to gettheir approval.
  • Coordinate with relevantagencies and/or parties involved in projects and ensure projectstasks expenses and time frames are within agreedparameters.
  • Report to the Line Manager on theprojects status regularly.
  • On completion of aproject conduct interviews and surveys with project stakeholdersand owners to establish the level of customer service andsatisfaction with the project delivery and to measure the successfor the project.
  • Coordinate relevant projectmeetings working groups workshops ensuring action points follow upsand agreed actions are documented included in weekly project tasksand communicated to all stakeholders and partners asnecessary.
  • Responsible to provide a support theendtoend procurement tendering and contracting of QAS Cargorequirement from an enduser perspective in order to achieve maximumvalue for commercial and operationalprojects.
  • Perform other department dutiesrelated to his/her position as directed by the Head of theDepartment.

  • Minimum of 4 years job relevantexperience if you have High School Qualification / VocationalQualification /Diploma or Equivalent (related to the role) or
  • Minimum 3 years of jobrelated experience ifyou have Bachelors Degree
  • Preferably withAirline/Airport/Airport Ground Handlingexperience
  • Proven experience of demonstratingflexibility to meet the changing demands of the business.
  • Proven experience in health and safetymanagement in the workplace. Experience working in an executiveadministrative office
  • You must have a goodknowledge in Microsoft Office Application including MicrosoftProject
