- Comparespurchase orders to invoices and distributes to proper DepartmentHead for approval
- Audits bills for errors, corrects as necessary
- Attaches bills to purchase orders and receiving documents Ensures proper back up is attached to expense reports
- Processesapproved invoices in the computer, and balances the open invoicesto the computer listings
- Ensures correct charging amount bycoding invoices
- Reconciles all statements, requests missinginvoices, and makes adjustments as necessary
- Summarizes paymentsdue and communicates cash needs to the Financial Controller forapproval
- Ensures appropriate support documentation is obtainedand attached to the invoices before payment is made
- Researchestravel agency commission checks and performs necessary follow up Stamps all invoices "paid" before going to thecheck signers for signature
- Maintains all necessary files andregisters for accounts payable
- Keeps file on audited foodinvoices and pays regularly
- Maintains a file for current and newvendors
- Maintains paid and unpaid invoice files
- Prepares allappropriate period closing reports and entries What we need fromyou:
- Diploma or Degree in a related field.
- Previous experienceas AP Supervisor in a hotel.
- Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work under pressure and work to deadlines.
- Advancedskill level in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Previousexperience in the same role in a luxury or 5 star hotelenvironment.
