Responsibilities:

  • Designing and drafting MEP systems for buildings, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing systems
  • Working closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that the MEP systems are designed and installed correctly 1.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical drafting, drafting design, mechanical engineering, or similar
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a MEP drafter
  • Proficiency with CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks
  • Excellent understanding of a range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and components
  • Thorough knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and health standards
  • Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and managerial skills
  • The ability to stay up to date with the latest developments in MEP systems and best practices
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative abilities
  • Consultant experience is a must
