As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive marketing strategy and provide leadership on a commercial level for all marketing activities of Discover Qatar (DQ).

Oversee the marketing team activities and make sure the team deliver the plans and target in their assigned source market, ensuring high levels of service and increase DQ revenue and awareness in the market.


Other key responsibilities are:

  • Review the market trends and oversee the implementation of strategies to attain revenue targets.
  • Develop commercial marketing campaigns ensuring consistency of messaging and imagery on all key communication channels.
  • Propose annual marketing budgets to Executive management to ensure DQ maximize the opportunities and contribute to the success of Qatar Airways Group. Produce annual promotional budget/calendar for the business ensuring maximum utilization of budgets.
  • Ensure commercial marketing campaigns are launched timely and on budget. Employ the full range of marketing mix including through the line campaigns, events, digital marketing, sponsoring and advertising, advancing DQ image and market profile.
  • Work closely with colleagues in Discover Qatar, Qatar Airways Holidays, HIA and Qatar Tourism to amplify all campaigns and ensure DQ products and campaigns achieve maximum visibility.
  • Take responsibility for the effectiveness of all promotional collaterals and advertising materials ensuring maximum exposure.
  • Oversee the website and the related revenue generation opportunities from its effective marketing.
  • Ensure stringent and unified presence of DQ brands and products online as well as in global office locations.
  • Grow ENL subscribers and social media presence.
  • Constantly look for improvement on the marketing deployment process to improve effectiveness, marketing spend' efficiency and speed to market.
  • Analyze web traffic statistics and ROI of all e marketing campaigns; compile regular and adhoc reports to senior management on site behavior and campaign impact.
  • Devise and propose sales strategies for the continued growth of DQ website including regular benchmarking against key competitors.
  • Responsible for marketing activities, E-Commerce strategies, B2C and B2B online proposition including design and functionality.
  • Work with Qatar Tourism for marketing campaign activities
  • Work with systems team to constantly enhance customer journey.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Marketing team.

  • Minimum qualification of bachelor's degree or equivalent is essential.
  • 6+ years of jobrelated experience
  • Prior experience as Marketing Manager leading multifunctional marketing projects at a time.
  • Travel industry experience or prior airline experience a definite advantage

  • Intermediate to advanced level of numerical skills to analyze performance and calculate ROIs is required
  • Understanding of broad marketing concepts
  • Demonstrated ability in using different marketing techniques.
  • Demonstrates best practices for digital marketing.
