Job Overview The Presales Engineer willhandle functions related to the company s strategic products linesand provide solution presales support (throughout the availablepresales tools and resources) of company s cybersecurityproducts/solutions.

The Presales Engineer will manage and developthe knowledge of existing and new clients, responding to customerrequirements whilst achieving revenue & margin targets, andensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Duties &Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the sales Team onproposals and pitches for business.
  • Working closely withcustomers to understand and capture requirements and deviseeffective solutions.
  • Replying to customers followingrequests for information and proposal requests.
  • Preparingpresentations and presenting to customers products or services withall their values and advantages.
  • Coordinating andorganizing of demand generating activities like tradeshows, eventsor customer workshops.
  • Ensuring that customers are aware,informed and trained on Vendor technologies and products.
  • Ensuring that the assigned products meet the sales, profitability,stock and other KPIs of both the company and the relatedVendors.
  • Designing and suggesting bundles to bepromoted.
  • Aligning with the Vendors to create and realizepricing and marketing activities. In alignment with Vendor,understanding targets and planning short term and long-termbudgets.
  • Creating, leading and driving related marketing,sales and educational activities both physical and digital on aregular basis.
  • Ensuring that pricing of related productswithin the company, including the company s e-commerce iscorrect.
  • Obtaining market information to identify marketneeds and opportunities. Obtaining market share information bycommunicating with partners, Vendors and other sources.
  • Providing presales support following a solution approach toreseller channel with primary focus on Security.
  • Trainingthe reseller s presales/ sales Team on product and services of thebrand.
  • Supporting with any other related tasks that wouldbe assigned or deemed necessary by the Company'sManagement.
  • Keeping up with Vendor technological trendsand products as well as sales and presales certifications to ensurea high level of technological awareness and understanding. Thisincludes holding and maintaining the necessary certificates forLogicom to meet Vendor requirements.
Skills &Qualifications

  • Computer Science, Computer Engineering,Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Cybersecurity orother similar degree
  • 3+ years experience.
  • ITcertifications, especially in IT security to be considered a strongadditional advantage.
  • Dynamic personality, well spoken,with customer facing characteristics as they will work on sales andpresales.
  • Organized and professional attitude.
  • Able to adapt to various requirements of the job.
Preferredcertificates

  • CCNA / CCNA Security or CCDA.
  • Anyrelevant Certifications in computer networks andCybersecurity.
