Main purpose of the role

The main purpose of the Creative Manager is to lead the creative department and take responsibility for the channel's creative output ensuring it is delivered on time and with maximum quality.

The role includes all aspects of Brand Management which covers Branding, Graphics & Promotions as well as Marketing Kit

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establish the scope of the Creative department through strategic business drivers
  • Managing all areas of the creative department including graphics, design & promotions
  • Manage and coach the graphics and design teams
  • Lead the evaluation and design of creative solutions
  • Improve and develop the department workflows and processes
  • Managing departmental budgets and costs associated with them
  • Deliver monthly reports against measures and standards for the department
  • Communicating effectively with members of the team and other senior managers across various departments
  • Keeping up to date with changes in media technology by building and maintaining a network of contacts and keeping up to date with new systems and techniques
  • Develop and evaluate comprehensive plans to satisfy the present and future needs of the channel in relation to its needs in animation, media graphics and promos
  • Responsible for the manpower planning, recruitment, and training requirements for the creative department
  • Extensive knowledge in relation to the tools, techniques and software
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and effectively
  • Effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to function effectively with tight deadlines and in highpressure situations
  • Ability to work with senior Management, across other departments and understand their needs in relation to the running of the Operations department

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant Degree in the creative field such as media art, media graphics, design and technology or similar
  • A masters or MBA would be an advantage
  • Managerial experience in television media promotions, media and graphics
years of experience in the creative broadcast field

  • Extensive knowledge of areas of a television creative department and its processes
  • Substantial experience working at and with a senior management level
  • Arabic and English language are essential
