About the role

We are seeking a skilled copy editor to create top-notch digital content for Qatar Airways' online channels, enhancing the overall online customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to digital content creation for Qatar Airways' channels such as the website and mobile app, as well as digital media, emails, banners, social media, and search ads to improve the online customer experience.
  • Work closely with product development teams to create content for various online touchpoints like booking flow, check-in, flight status, manage booking, and more, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Ensure content quality by proofreading and checking for clarity and brand compliance.
  • Maintain brand tone and communication strategy consistency across all content.
  • Create personalized campaign content tailored to different audiences and channels while adhering to best practices and guidelines.
  • Develop an editorial calendar for monthly content and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Design team on creative campaigns for the website and E-marketing channels.
  • Create targeted website content for personalized customer experiences.
  • Review and create destination-based content to showcase Qatar Airways' global destinations.
  • Enhance the campaign library with seasonal and themed content to expedite marketing efforts.
  • Manage FAQ database and develop web content guidelines.
  • Undertake other duties assigned by the Head of the Department.
Qualifications

About You

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our Digital Enablement Team.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferably a degree in Marketing, Communication, or English Language Arts.
  • Professional qualifications in Advertising, Copywriting, or Creative Writing.
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality content.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to keep pace with technology trends.
  • Team player with a knack for working in fast-paced environments.
  • Capable of meeting project deadlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with E-commerce, digital environments, and customer touchpoints.
  • Understanding of social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of Classical Arabic is a bonus.
