Role Description

As a Product Owner Manager, you will be leading the charge in transforming the digital travel experience, driving the development and enhancement of our digital products spanning from booking platforms to ancillary products, loyalty programs, and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, QA, and other specialists to deliver top-notch digital products across various digital channels
  • Advocate for customer-centric design and user experience, ensuring our products surpass customer expectations
  • Embrace the digital product vision and OKRs to shape your product backlog, and define sprint scope based on your prioritization framework, digital product priorities, and capacity
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to gather insights, update on roadmap progress, and ensure alignment with the product vision
  • Monitor product releases and performance to ensure they provide value, and communicate outcomes with digital leadership and stakeholders
  • Create compelling product release materials to support internal product launches
  • Identify and address risks, issues, and technical challenges in product development by collaborating with other business units to find solutions

Qualifications

About You

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Product Owner to join our innovative Digital Commerce & Service Experiences team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of travel at Qatar Airways.

  • Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or in a similar capacity, preferably within the travel sector
  • A passion for innovation and driving digital advancement in air travel
  • Proven ability to efficiently prioritize a product roadmap or backlog
  • Experience working with Amadeus products and systems would be beneficial
