Position

We are seeking Elementary Homeroom Teachers to join our vibrant educational community for the academic year 2025/26. This position offers a unique opportunity to inspire young minds, foster a love for learning, and contribute to the holistic development of our students within a truly international setting. Responsibilities

  1. Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction in core subjects (literacy, mathematics, & science) to elementary students.
  2. Create and maintain a stimulating, organized classroom environment that promotes active learning and independence.
  3. Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs, interests, and abilities of all students.
  4. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the American curriculum standards and school's educational philosophy.
  5. Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and maintain accurate records.
  6. Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress and social development.
  7. Establish and maintain classroom routines and procedures that promote positive behavior and foster a safe learning environment.
  8. Collaborate with specialist teachers to ensure an integrated approach to student learning.
  9. Communicate regularly with parents through conferences, reports, and informal interactions.
  10. Identify and support students requiring additional assistance or enrichment opportunities.
  11. Participate in school events, parent meetings, and other activities outside regular school hours as required.
  12. Contribute to the development and review of curriculum and teaching resources.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Teaching Certificate preferred).
  2. Three or more years of elementary teaching experience, preferably in an international environment.
  3. Experience with the American curriculum & Common Core Standards and inquiry-based learning approaches.
  4. Strong understanding of child development principles and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  5. Experience with guided reading and balanced literacy approaches.
  6. Fluency in English is required.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  8. Experience integrating technology into teaching and learning practices to enhance student engagement and achievement.
  9. Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development, including participation in workshops, conferences, and other learning opportunities.
