The Commissioning Process-Piping Leader will assist and support the Commissioning Site Head in supervising the EPCIC contractor activities related to the commissioning of a new Central Processing Platform (CPP), bridge-linked flare, and bridge link to the riser platform. This includes both the preparation and execution phases at the fabrication site in Ulsan, South Korea, and offshore at the ALS field.

The leader will report directly to the Commissioning Site Head and is responsible for:

  1. Reviewing the commissioning preparation by the contractor, including but not limited to: ICAPS database population, procedures, leak test packs preparation, and OTP preparation.
  2. Supervising pre-commissioning and commissioning preparation and execution at the fabrication sites and offshore at the ALS field to ensure the installation is ready for operation and completed on schedule.
  3. Supervising Company Commissioning Supervisors during the Onshore / Offshore phases.
  4. Overseeing leak tests and Process OTPs during commissioning activities.
  5. Assessing performance and job functions to ensure safety and timely execution.
  6. Adhering to and effectively communicating Project HSE worksite instructions and policies.
  7. Proactively intervening where HSE deficiencies are identified and reporting them to the HSE department.

ACTIVITIES

  1. Ensure proper implementation of all pre-commissioning and commissioning discipline requirements according to the contract.
  2. Review and ensure the proper preparation of pre-commissioning / commissioning procedures (write procedures if necessary to respect the planning and achieve milestones on time), as well as reporting tools prepared by contractors (e.g., technical databases, planning, punch list control, and follow-up of disciplines).
  3. Promote safety within the commissioning activities and verify that safety procedures are implemented and followed by contractors and company teams.
  4. Review engineering preparation conducted by subcontractors.
  5. Maximize onshore commissioning and minimize lost time due to interfaces.
  6. Coordinate with other project entities, disciplines, and existing facilities.
  7. Ensure the lists of pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures are comprehensive, including operational test procedures.
  8. Ensure preservation procedures for prior TOM and first oil are fully understood and implemented.
  9. Ensure that the necessary spare parts, consumables, equipment, special tools, etc., for Process-Piping pre-commissioning and commissioning are available on time.
  10. Monitor the execution of piping-process commissioning activities to achieve the commissioning schedule completion target.
  11. Supervise the reporting of piping-process commissioning execution to ensure that all technical and contractual information is recorded, collected, and available for inspection as required by law and company policies.
  12. Control and follow up on red-line mark-up drawings for piping-process.
  13. Oversee N2 / He leak testing.
  14. Control and follow up on vendor commissioning scope activities, including SAT, OTPs, document updates, punch list closure, and reporting.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Qualification: Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree or equivalent in Engineering.

Experience: At least 15 years in the offshore oil and gas industry, with a minimum of 10 years in a lead commissioning role.

Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Availability for technical missions worldwide.

Experience with industry standards, OPERCOM, ICAPS, DCC, and relevant codes and standards.

Ability to work in complex, multicultural project environments.

H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET training certifications required.
