Commissioning Process and Piping Specialist Offshore to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.

QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Engineering degree in process or bachelor degree with minimum 10 years experience
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Manage all execution of process and piping commissioning activities to achieve commissioning schedule on target with all safety requirements especially during SIMOPS and co-activities
  2. Monitor the contractor and subcontractor piping activities using the OPERCOM Methodology and ICAPS software (Integrated Commissioning And Progress System)
  3. Monitoring of VENDORS activities during commissioning (SAT, Punch list Closure, OTP etc…)
  4. Monitor the test pack performed in offshore (leak test N2/He)
  5. Make sure that the required commissioning spare parts and special tools are available and ready to use
  6. Monitoring and review progress in ICAPS on daily basis
  7. Clearing of punch-list items blocking the handover certificate
  8. Responsible for readiness of the main milestone of piping and process system or sub system (MC walkdown, RFC, RFSU, PSSR etc)
  9. Provide guidance and timely review on contractor's commissioning execution plan and processes verifying fitness for purpose and compliance with CONTRACT requirements including codes and standards
  10. Ensure coordination and communication for site activities with other disciplines such as construction, Hook up and Completion Team and SHE representative and provide technical support with contractor, quality, safety, planning, engineering and start up/ performance testing
  11. Review and propose mitigation for commissioning aspects of the Risk Management Plan and monitor the mitigation when defined
  12. Review all commissioning changes, including justification for cost and schedule impacts, in accordance with the PMOC procedure.
  13. Attend to meetings as required, mentor the trainees to develop their project skills and experience while being on site; Maintain a register of lessons learned
EXPERIENCE:
  1. Minimum 10 years experience with Good knowledge on various process equipment (pumps, PSV, vessels, control valves, safety valves, PID controllers etc)
  2. Good experience in hydrotest and leak test (gross air or helium nitrogen)
  3. Familiar with Pigging operation will be a plus
  4. Good experience in hydraulic oil flushing activities
  5. Strong knowledge in Wellhead control panel
  6. Experienced with International Standards, OPERCOM and ICAPS
  7. Ability to communicate with Contractor's team and obtain required information as requested
  8. Experienced with Interface coordination and support activities
