We have a new requirement for a Medical Director/Senior Consultant Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to join one of the leading healthcare organisations in the Middle East - Hamad Medical Corporation.

Role Requirements/Experience:

Medical Expertise and Clinical experience:

  • American Board Certification/CCT/Western Board in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation plus a minimum of 6 years' post Board experience at Attending/Consultant level. If you possess CESR you are eligible to apply if you hold more than 9 years' Consultant experience, post certification.
  • 10 or more years of experience in PM&R, with a deep understanding of a wide range of rehabilitation therapies and individualized treatment plans.
  • Experience in developing program-based Rehabilitation.

Leadership and Administration:

  • Experience in Executive leadership roles (Medical Director, Director, Chair) leading the medical team in Rehabilitation Hospitals.
  • Experience in leading Multidisciplinary team and the ability to collaborate effectively with Physicians various therapy services and allied health disciplines.

Research Achievements:

  • Research publications and presentations in reputable medical journals and conferences.
  • Experience with involvement in clinical and translational research, contributing to advancements in PM&R practices.

To be eligible to apply for this role:

  • You must hold a minimum of 6 years' post Board/CCT experience. Please note for licensing purposes, 1 years' experience must be from a government, semi-government or a teaching hospital.
  • You must have previous Executive leadership experience.
  • You must be a registered Attending/Consultant.
  • You must be able to provide a Certificate of Good Standing.
