Are you an experienced, flexible and competent Admissions Officer with exceptional interpersonal skills, seeking a challenging new opportunity? If so, you will be interested in this fantastic opportunity to take our state-of-the art international school through our next stage of development.

The Opportunity

The role is due to start from June 2024. You will be instrumental in driving new enrolments and supporting the end-to-end admissions process, taking responsibility for delivering a first-class customer experience and assisting families as they make their decision about the school.

Person Specification

In particular, candidates should meet the following technical profile:

  1. Knowledge and experience of the Admissions process in an independent school.
  2. A strong customer service ethos – required to utilise expert knowledge of the school and deliver excellent customer service throughout the admissions process to support enrolments.
  3. Strong communications skills both written and verbal.
  4. Knowledge of the Qatar MOE&HE systems and processes.
  5. The ability to use statistics and database management.
  6. A high degree of computer literacy (Microsoft Office applications).
  7. An excellent telephone manner.
  8. Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage tasks.
  9. An eye for details and accuracy.

In addition, the personal qualities we are looking for include:

  1. Fluent English speaker. Additional languages would be an asset.
  2. A professional manner and appearance.
  3. Friendly, warm personality.
  4. Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage tasks.
  5. Self-motivated, with a positive, professional attitude.
  6. IT skills to include: Advanced Excel, Proficient use of Word, Powerpoint, Outlook.

Strong English language and clear communication is an essential requirement for this role, and applications from native-level speakers of English will be preferred.

About the School

United School International is the first school to be built on the Pearl, providing education for children within the local community. It is a result of an exciting partnership between Orbital Education and United Development Company, a highly successful Qatari organisation and the developer of The Pearl. It is the second major school in the city of Doha to be established by Orbital Education, with the highly acclaimed and beautifully appointed Oryx International School established in partnership with Qatar Airlines, already operating within the city.

The school provides a British style of education based upon the English National Curriculum, whilst retaining the value of local culture and tradition within its curriculum offering. It can accommodate up to 2,600 students between 3 to 18 years.
