Job Responsibilities
  • Creating a daily action plan to effectively organize and complete tasks within the given timeframe.
  • Leading all activities related to piping works.
  • Maintaining all necessary plant and piping equipment in operable and calibrated condition.
  • Ensuring work crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Studying client job specifications, preparing piping job scope, and allocating manpower.
  • Ordering required spare parts and consumables, and raising necessary requirements.
  • Monitoring job completion based on plans and budgeted manhours, and providing feedback to internal / external customers.
  • Addressing additional manpower requirements to the section manager for allocating necessary extra manhours.
  • Driving accountability for safe working practices, and adherence to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Preparing work permits and risk assessments for the identification, control, and mitigation of workplace risks.
  • Setting personal examples of safe behavior.
  • Resolving, analyzing and solving manufacturing discrepancies in collaboration with the quality team.
Minimum Requirements
  • Holding a diploma or degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) class 3 to 1 (motor ship), or its equivalent.
  • Having experience in shipyard / new build / offshore work leading a team of pipe fitters / technicians etc.
  • Having 6 years of experience, including 3 years of leading a team.
