Responsibilities
  1. Be responsible for spa treatment consultations and identification of possible contraindications.
  2. Be responsible for performing beauty therapy treatments, massage and body therapy treatments and specialized treatments for the members and guests to the required standard and provide guests with home-care well-being program.
  3. Be responsible for after care advice for the member of guest.
  4. Be responsible for achieving retail sales.
  5. Ensure that all treatment rooms and therapy back of house areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  6. Ensure that all equipment is serviced as part of a preventative maintenance program.
  7. Carry out spa tours and spa consultations with guests and members, giving personalized advice and promote facilities, treatments and products.
  8. Assist during spa promotions and events.
  9. Assist with marketing and public relations.
  10. Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
  11. Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
  12. Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required.
  13. Actively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
  14. Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
  15. Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests.
  16. Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
  17. Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
  18. Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
  19. Ensure correct records are kept for member and guest visits, treatments and purchases.
  20. Ensure correct information is recorded for stock control in accordance with the Senior Therapist.
  21. Be responsible for treatment laundry stock inventory and security.
  22. Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported immediately and rectified.
  23. Ensure that all staff within the department works in a manner unlikely to give risk of harm or injury to themselves or others.

Qualifications

  1. Arabic speaking is preferred but not mandatory.
  2. Minimum of 5 years' experience within a 5-star or luxury hotel spa.
  3. Must hold a valid license to practice therapy from an internationally recognized institution.
  4. Must have knowledge of various therapeutic techniques for face & body.
  5. Essential knowledge about Hammam, Manicure, and Pedicure is required.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and build strong professional relationships.
