Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Cashier to join our team in Doha. You will be responsible for handling all customer transactions accurately and efficiently, while providing top-notch customer service. The position comes with a salary of 1500 and requires at least 3 years of experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet customers when they enter the store and provide assistance as needed
- Ring up customers’ purchases correctly on the register
- Process cash and card payments accurately
- Count the cash in the register at the end of each shift
- Answer customers’ queries about products, prices, availability, product uses, and payment options
- Balance cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift
- Maintain cleanliness in the store by wiping down surfaces and organizing merchandise shelves
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Follow all safety protocols when handling cash or other sensitive information
Qualifications
- Proven track record as a Cashier or related retail position
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
- Basic knowledge of computer operations preferred
