Technical Competencies:

  • Knowledge in PACS and troubleshooting. Preferred Certified PACS administrators.
  • Working knowledge in DICOM, DICOM classes, and integration standards.
  • Knowledge of CIS and hospital workflows (order-based and imaging).
  • At least 10 years' experience in managing and administration of imaging specialized/departmental PACS solutions.
  • Technical knowledge of hospital/PACS infrastructure requirements and architecture.
  • Produce business cases/RFPs for imaging systems.
  • Sound IT technical background with a good understanding of IT security.

Essential Tools/Solution/System Experience:

  • Integration of modalities/scopes/devices with respective imaging systems.
  • Image workflow related to archiving, auto routing, and prefetching rules/logics and other related imaging activities.

Preferred Certifications:

  • DICOM
  • PACS Certifications - CIIP
