Duties:
- Lead the 24×7 operations of the SOC to ensure optimal identification and resolution of security incidents.
- Direct the functions, processes, and operations of the SOC and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Provide CISO/Senior Management with a realistic overview of threats in the enterprise environment.
- Create reports, dashboards, and KPI metrics for SOC.
- Review SOC team performance.
- Conduct and coordinate internal audits and facilitate external audits.
- Ensure privacy and security policies to protect the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Protected Health Information (PHI) are enforced across the organization.
- Participate in risk assessments in accordance with prevailing standards.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audit exercises.
- Work with internal teams to recommend and close open findings/vulnerabilities.
- Participate in the development and implementation of information security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Review any new or existing solutions from a security perspective.
- Have a good knowledge of Service Management concepts, e.g., Change, Configuration, Incident, Problem Management, etc.
- Possess knowledge of Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
- Understand embedded OS/Customized OS, Identity and Access Management (IDAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Mobile Device Management (MDM), Mobile Application Management (MAM), Threat Management, etc.
- Have a good understanding of security governance, data privacy, and data classification.
- Assist internal and external stakeholders with best practices and security consultations.
- Ensure organizational compliance during audits and certification efforts.
- Support any other Information Security operations as needed and directed by the Director of Information Security.
- Have exposure to working with any information security governance tool, e.g., RSA Archer.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or higher with at least 7-12 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant industry-standard certifications in the information security domain.
- Experience in leading a Security Operations Center (SOC) team.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related discipline, or Bachelor's Degree plus related IT industry certification/program from an internationally recognized institution.
7 years of experience providing hardware/software technical support.
OR
9 years of experience providing hardware/software technical support for Bachelor's degree plus IT certification holders.
