Wqtah is Qatar's leading digital marketplace for entertainment, ticketing, and local tourism. Our platform enables users to seamlessly book sports courts, event tickets, hotel stays, adventure experiences, and dining reservations—all in one place.

We are looking for a Creative Content Writer to craft engaging, high-impact content that drives brand awareness, user engagement, and customer acquisition. Role Overview

As a Creative Content Writer, you will be responsible for developing engaging and persuasive content across blogs, website pages, marketing campaigns, social media, and product descriptions. Your words will help tell Wqtah's story, inspire users to book unique experiences and enhance our brand presence across Qatar and beyond.

This is a fast-paced role where creativity meets strategy, requiring you to write content that is not just engaging but also optimized for conversions and SEO.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Write engaging and high-quality content for the website, blog, landing pages, product descriptions, and email marketing campaigns.
  2. Develop storytelling-driven content that connects with users and enhances brand identity.
  3. Craft compelling copy for advertisements, promotions, and social media posts that drive user engagement.
  4. Create SEO-optimized blog posts and articles focused on Wqtah's services, entertainment trends, and customer stories.
  5. Develop concise and impactful messaging for push notifications, app updates, and in-app promotions.
  6. Maintain and develop Wqtah's brand tone of voice, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
  7. Write attention-grabbing captions for Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms.
  8. Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging scripts for video content, reels, and promotional campaigns.
  9. Assist in crafting influencer and partnership marketing materials to align with brand collaborations.
  10. Research trending topics in entertainment, tourism, and leisure booking to create relevant and viral content.
  11. Work with the SEO team to optimize content for search rankings and traffic growth.
  12. Analyze content performance metrics (e.g., engagement rates, click-through rates) and optimize future content accordingly.
  13. A/B test email marketing subject lines, landing page copy, and ad messaging to maximize conversion rates.
Qualifications & Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or digital content creation.
  3. Strong portfolio showcasing creative writing, blog articles, and marketing copy.
  4. Experience in SEO writing, keyword research, and content performance analysis.
  5. Familiarity with social media trends, engagement strategies, and storytelling techniques.
  6. Ability to write compelling, persuasive copy for marketing campaigns and product promotions.
  7. Strong research skills to craft factually accurate and well-informed content.
  8. Understanding of digital marketing principles, including CTAs and conversion-focused copywriting.
Preferred Skills
  1. Experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or entertainment-related content writing.
  2. Knowledge of SEO tools (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.).
  3. Familiarity with email marketing tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).
  4. Ability to adapt writing style based on the target audience (B2B vs. B2C).
  5. Proficiency in Canva or basic graphic design tools to create text overlays and social media visuals.
