Job Overview: The Accounting Clerk at Noble House Training & Services plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with data entry, reconciling accounts, and providing support in the preparation of financial reports. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Data Entry & Record Keeping:
    1. Enter financial transactions into the company's accounting system.
    2. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all financial activities.
    3. Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
  2. Accounts Payable/Receivable:
    1. Assist in managing the accounts payable and receivable functions.
    2. Track and resolve discrepancies in billing or payments.
    3. Process and verify invoices and payment requests.
    4. Reconcile company bank accounts on a regular basis.
    5. Identify and resolve any discrepancies between bank statements and company records.
    6. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
    7. Provide support in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing activities.
  3. Compliance:
    1. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
    2. Assist with filing and organizing financial documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  4. General Support:
    1. Assist senior accounting staff with various financial tasks as needed.
    2. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial matters.

Qualifications

  1. Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  2. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or other relevant software).
  3. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  4. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  6. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
