Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
  1. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  2. Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts to ensure compliance with design requirements and contractual obligations.
  3. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
  4. Procure materials, equipment, and services required for operational activities, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
  5. Monitor progress, inspect work quality, and identify potential risks or delays, taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
  6. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, change orders, and RFIs, to track project progress and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  7. Assist in cost estimation, budget management, and financial reporting to monitor project expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  8. Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits, approvals, and inspections, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  9. Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and project teams, to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
  10. Participate in project meetings, contribute to problem-solving discussions, and provide technical expertise and support to ensure project success.
Job Knowledge & Skills
  1. Proficiency in construction project management methodologies and techniques.
  2. Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and materials.
  3. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
  5. Problem-solving abilities to address challenges and find innovative solutions during project execution.
  6. ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience

Minimum 8 years working experience, with 5 years relevant working experience; 2 years in GCC is a plus.

Education

Professional degree in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA).

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering.
