Skyetron IT Consultancy is urgently hiring Cisco networking professionals for a large-scale event infrastructure project in Doha Qatar. Candidates will be responsible for deploying, managing, monitoring and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and optimal network performance throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Install configure deploy and maintain Cisco switches routers and wireless access points
- Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols including OSPF BGP VLANs STP EtherChannel DHCP and DNS
- Monitor network health bandwidth utilisation connectivity and device performance
- Troubleshoot complex network incidents and outages escalating critical issues when required
- Ensure network availability redundancy resilience and operational stability
- Support network expansion configuration changes and performance optimisation
- Coordinate with wireless security and infrastructure teams to maintain seamless connectivity
- Manage incident tickets service requests and technical escalations
- Maintain network configuration records change logs and technical documentation
- Prepare daily operational updates and post-event technical reports
Required Skills
- 2 years of experience for Network Engineers and 5 years for Senior Network Engineers
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking infrastructure and Cisco IOS IOS-XE
- Strong knowledge of routing switching TCP IP VLANs STP OSPF and BGP
- Experience in network monitoring troubleshooting incident management and performance optimisation
- Knowledge of enterprise networking high availability and network redundancy
- Basic to advanced wireless networking knowledge depending on role seniority
- CCNA CCNP certification for Network Engineers
- CCIE Routing & Switching CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure for Senior Network Engineers
- Ability to join immediately and work onsite in Doha Qatar
Certification: CCNA / CCNP for Network Engineers; CCIE Routing & Switching / CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure for Senior Network Engineers Preference: Candidates currently based in Qatar and available for immediate joining. 2+ years of experience for Network Engineers and 5+ years for Senior Network Engineers. Hands-on experience with Cisco networking infrastructure and Cisco IOS / IOS-XE. Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, and BGP. Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, and performance optimisation. Knowledge of enterprise networking, high availability, and network redundancy.
