Indian Chef in Al-Rayyan
We are hiring an experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Al-Rayyan. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes according to traditional recipes and standards. The ideal candidate must have a passion for Indian cuisine and be knowledgeable about various cooking techniques and ingredients.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus, taking into consideration the availability of fresh produce and seasonal ingredients
- Prepare all food items, including sauces, curries, vegetables, and meats according to recipes
- Ensure that all dishes are cooked to the appropriate level of spice and flavor
- Supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks as needed
- Monitor food inventory and place orders for supplies when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
- Adhere to food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Indian Chef in a professional setting
- Must be knowledgeable about different regional cuisines of India
- Strong understanding of various spices, herbs, and ingredients used in Indian cooking
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of dishes
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must have excellent communication skills in order to effectively communicate with kitchen staff
- Must be physically fit as the job requires standing for long periods of time
Salary: The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
Location: This job is located in Al-Rayyan, Qatar.
Note: This position is open to Indian nationals only. Non-native English speakers are welcome to apply as English is not required for this role.
