Courier Delivery Assistant
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Courier Delivery Assistant to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As a Courier Delivery Assistant, you will assist the Courier Driver in delivering packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This is an ideal position for someone who is looking for a job without any previous experience or English language skills, as full training will be provided. The salary for this position is 900$ per month, with the added benefit of accommodation provided by the company. Applicants must have their own visa and be able to work legally in Qatar.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Courier Driver with loading and unloading packages from the delivery vehicle
- Ensure all packages are properly secured and organized for delivery
- Deliver packages to customers according to designated routes and schedules
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and answering any questions they may have about their package
- Collect payments from customers if required
- Keep accurate records of delivered packages and payments received
- Report any delivery delays or issues to the Courier Driver immediately
- Follow all safety protocols while on the road
Requirements
- Must be a Canadian citizen or resident with a valid passport
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy packages throughout the day
- Must have basic communication skills in English or Arabic (preferred)
- Able to follow directions and work independently when required
- Must have own visa and be able to work legally in Qatar
- Previous experience in delivery or customer service is an asset but not required
