As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Cargo's Pricing Team in Doha.

About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing QR Cargo's Global Pricing strategy in multiple regions. The role will involve management of all functions related to cargo pricing, collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with business goals, adjusting pricing based on market fluctuations, and ensuring pricing compliance within a defined framework.

Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Developing and implementing QR Cargo's Global Pricing strategy based on market analysis, customer needs, and competitor pricing.
  2. Ensuring alignment of pricing strategies with the company's overall business objectives and profitability targets.
  3. Evaluating supply and demand trends, fuel surcharges, regulatory changes, and geopolitical factors impacting pricing.
  4. Monitoring and analyzing market trends and changes to maintain a competitive pricing structure.
  5. Analyzing, tracking, and reporting on key performance metrics related to pricing governance.
  6. Managing and optimizing pricing systems and tools to maximize revenue.
  7. Overseeing price negotiation of RFPs and contracts.
  8. Driving the cargo pricing transformation project.
  9. Collaborating with various teams to deliver end-to-end transformation.
  10. Driving change management and adoption of new systems globally.
  11. Monitoring pricing governance quality through defined metrics.
  12. Leading continuous improvement of pricing processes.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of job-related experience.
  2. Experience in analytical positions within the airline industry.
  3. Experience in Cargo Pricing and/or revenue management.
  4. Track record of negotiating and implementing international contracts.
  5. Experience in project management and business transformation.
  6. Experience with an international network airline.
  7. At least 3 years of job-related experience in a managerial capacity.
