Income Auditor The Income Auditor verifiesthat daily receipts which should be booked as hotel revenue iscorrectly done and recorded in the accounting ledgers and preparesthe necessary reports. • Verify sales from Food BeverageDepartment are correct by examining the Food & BeverageRevenue Report. • Verify sales from Minor OperatingDepartment reviewed are correct by examining the Daily RevenueReport and sales vouchers. • Verify the voucher totalsagree with the Daily Revenue Report and Food & BeverageRevenue Report. • Verify the guest ledger balance agreeswith total of all account detail balances for each room. •Verify that main checks are processed according to stipulatedprocedures and verify the main check report. • Record thecash revenue amounts of each cashier for whom a final inspectionwith completed in the General Cashier Report prepared by theGeneral Cashier. • If the cash revenue totals do not matchthe amounts received, verify amounts through the cash overage& shortage report from each cashier. • Verify thatthe Guest Ledger Balance Agrees with the supporting details foreach room account. Also, verify that no un-settled billings remain.• Agree the Accounts Receivable Control Sheet to the salesvouchers settled as accounts receivable and after auditing forwardthem to the AR or Credit Manager. • Verify all salesvouchers are used in sequence by each section and lost and voidsvouchers are reported. • Verify that Front OfficeCashiers, Food & Beverage Cashiers and Guest ServicesManager are performing in accordance with the stipulatedprocedures. Ensure all problems are reported to the superior andrecorded accordingly. Qualifications • Diploma inAccounting / Finance • Minimum 1 year of experience in asimilar capacity • Good reading, writing, and oralproficiency in the English language • Proficient in MSExcel, Word, PowerPoint and relevant accounting systems AdditionalInformation
