Provide advice to seniormanagement on all aspects of engineering support, environmentalcontrols and the operational efficiency of the property. Ensure theeffective financial management of the engineering department bysetting maintenance budgets, capital works programmed andengineering plans and ensuring that performance against there areregularly monitored and reviewed. Responsible for the general costcontrol aspects of maintenance, the preparation of departmentalcost budgets and their implementation and submission to management.Control of Capital Project Planning, in liaison with management, toensure capital funding is effectively allocated and budgeted inaccordance with company directives and philosophy. Plan, implementand administer an energy management programmed by establishingenergy reduction objectives, the maintenance of records and regularreporting of performance against these objectives. Ensure theemployee awareness of energy management within the property byconducting regular education and training programs on energyconservation and matters related to efficient operation ofequipment in a cost-effective fashion. Contribute to thehotel’s profitability by ensuring the effectivemanagement of the buildings environmental controls and energyconservation systems. Evaluate, control and record energy usage andimplement and upgrade energy conservation systems. Contribute toguest satisfaction standards by ensuring that technical supportservices quickly address, and where possible, anticipate,individual needs. • *Requirements**: Minimum of oneyears’ experience in similar role. Strong leadershipskills in motivating and managing the team to drive for results.• *Skills Required**: Leadership
