based in Doha.Role:The position will have multiple roles including acting as Accountant and Admin officer for SMAP Water and for Saur Qatar Branch, whist acting as an Accountant / cost controller for other projects with Saur International as required by the Saur GCC Finance Manager.In general, will oversee see all aspects of accounting, accounts payable/receivable, WP, budgeting, fixed assets, tax, government and GTA compliance, cash flow analysis, audits, and financial reporting and analysis.Responsibilities:Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. Maintains cash flow statement and updates with actuals. Verify the project invoice and follow up with the client for receivables. Prepare monthly/Quarterly/Annual financial reports to Management. Maintains general ledger, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries. Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements. Prepare and maintain payroll and WPS. Completes external audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors. Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements. Requirements:10-15 years overall experience in financial accounting Suitable qualification, preferably Graduation in Accountancy / Commerce. Fluent in English Experience handling Project Accounts. Excellent communication, problem-solving, time-management, and leadership skills. Good knowledge of Commercial/Business and financial auditing Must be capable of working within a team and being remote from the rest of the team. Benefits:Salary package according to seniority.
