You as a Manager - Sales and Business Development (Open)will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Doha, Ad Dawhah, Qatar. In this role, you will be increasing the transformers services portfolio sales in Qatar. This includes implementing sales strategies to expand sales with current customer accounts and develop Service solutions tailored at addressing their needs of Asset Condition Monitoring, Testing, consultancy, Retrofits, On-Site and Workshop Repairs. The role is heavily focused around Utility, Oil & Gas and Industry customers requiring an expansive proactive Sales approach to increase the opportunity pipeline.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Leading the development of services sales pipeline and pace growth across the transformer's services portfolio of installation and commissioning, maintenance, and repairs.
- Adopting the proactive sales approach with a business development mindset on customer engagement.
- Qualifying the leads and capturing prospective opportunities.
- Effective use of company tools (i.e. SFDC, SAP & ServIS) with consideration to key accounts and install base review.
- Preparing the quality proposals, supporting the bid commercial review process, ensure compliance with the proper price and margin results in negotiations with customers.
- Understanding the customer’s needs through consulting and expert insights, provides technical assistance on Service solutions to management and customers.
- Managing the customer relationships for key accounts across all segments. Understanding the market trends and competitive landscape, support actions to protect sales base and penetrate new customer accounts via value-add offerings.

**Your background**
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 15 years+ proven experience in Transformer Field Service Activities.
- 3 years+ proven experience in local and global business environment. Experience in Sales in transformers and services such as asset management, condition assessment, digital transformation, repairs, and retrofit solutions.
- Knowledge of design, operation, diagnostics, and the ageing process of Transformers.
- Familiar with ERP systems SAP, MS Outlook, MS Office and Sales Force (SFDC)
- Cost calculation and finance knowledge and commercial aspects of business
- Proven track record in sales and business development of M$ value.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
