Role Overview

Cloud services are an integral part of enterprise customers, irrespective of verticals or segment. These are used by customers, across life cycle stages and adoption rates are increasing Year on Year. With hyperscalers as Amazon and Google, expanding "Point of presence" footprint aggressively, use cases and resultant market is set to grow multi-fold. This clubbed with data center infra-availability provides right opportunity for Ooredoo to expand in this domain around Public, Private and Hybrid cloud.

The purpose of this role is to enable building of Cloud practice for enterprise customers, build a multi segment cloud strategy and portfolio to complement connectivity products and to develop Go to Market and Experience roadmaps basis OpCo maturity for in-house and partner products.

Core Responsibilities
- Build Ooredoo Business Cloud strategy basis market & OPCO maturity.
- Define and maintain cloud product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demands, and business priorities; for all business segments.
- Drive cloud revenue objectives along with OPCOs
- Support OPCOs build cloud service pipeline and engage with customers along-with local teams for large bids and deals.
- Closely work with Hyperscalers on building partnerships and Go to Market for respective offerings.
- Participate in & position Ooredoo cloud offerings on relevant platforms & events; develop events as required
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive offerings, and emerging trends in cloud computing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document detailed requirements for cloud services, ensuring they align with customer expectations and technical capabilities.
- Work closely with OPCO Technical/IT teams to build models and oversee development & release of cloud services, including feature definition, testing, and quality assurance.
- Develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and marketing plans for cloud products, working closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Engage with key customers & partners to gather feedback, understand their needs, and build strong relationships. Use this feedback to drive product improvements.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of cloud products and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Ensure Ooredoo cloud service offerings comply with industry & regulatory standards and security best practices, collaborating with security and compliance teams as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment, working closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to achieve product goals ; at group and OPCOs

Qualification and Experience- Minimum of bachelor's degree in computer Science
- Minimum of 10 years in a similar role within an International Department of a major telecommunication company A blend of Cloud Product and B2B sales experience is preferred.
- Bring with him a strong understanding of customer expectations and aware of current industry trends and developments.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on cloud services or infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Background in IT infrastructure - storage, networking, compute will be a big plus
