**Duties**:

- Be responsible for the execution of Counterintelligence collection activities and reporting, Counterintelligence operations, analysis and production sin the assigned area of responsibility.
- Coordinate and execute the full spectrum of Counterintelligence functions and activities such as Military Counterintelligence collections, debriefings, liaison, support to force protections, insider threat, counterespionage, and counterterrorism.
- Provide guidance, assistance and oversight to team members on world wide full-spectrum Counterintelligence, operations, projects and activities.
- Issue recommendations for changing, interpreting and or developing Counterintelligence strategy and concepts.
- Use multiple classified and unclassified sources of information to identity operational opportunities creating targeting packages resulting in Counterintelligence Operations.
- Forward deploy to contingency locations as required, in order to provide Counterintelligence support to the Department of Defense personnel/organizations.

**Conditions of Employment**:

- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
- Position is designated Emergency-Essential position in support of mobilization and wartime mission.
- Emergency Essential employees must be exempted from military mobilization or recall obligations by being placed in the Standby Reserve or other appropriate action.
- This position requires the employee to sign a mobility agreement under the provisions of the agency mobility program.
- Pre-employment medical examination and immunization screening are required.
- Will be required to comply with the Lautenberg Amendment/Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968.
- May be required to wear a uniform and/or protective clothing.
- May be expected to live in austere field conditions.
- May be required to work irregular shifts/hours.
- Expert knowledge as a graduate of a certifying CI course, per Department of Defense Directive (DODD), S-5240.02. Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Army Counterintelligence Badge and Credentials.

- Prior Federal Service Employee- To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience equivalent to the GG/GS-12 which prepared you to do this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience in Counterintelligence collection activities such as; Counterintelligence reporting, operations, analysis and production. This definition of specialize experience is typical of work performed and the next lower grade/level in the Federal Service.
- Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.

- Writing
