**About this role**
- Provides Process engineering leadership and expertise while supervising and administering Process team.
- Effective stewardship of EPC Contractor/s and delivers Process engineering and flow assurance design in accordance with project requirements, from contract award until delivery of Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC).
- Supports Engineering Manager in monitoring the Contractor’s progress on delivery of the required documents in the Process Engineering and flow assurance disciplines.
- Leads the development of Contractors Process Engineering and flow assurance activities.
- Leads the process engineering inputs for Masters Deliverables Regiser (MDR) including planning and scheduling of the Process deliverables to enable efficient project execution.
- Plans and schedules the Process engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with Company operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system.
- Provides Process engineering leadership and expertise while supervising and administering Process team. Review and approval of EPC contractor engineering deliverables/ simulations/ calculations, study reports and etc.
- Performs process engineering and flow assurance studies, calculations, simulations, develop Basis of Design, Technical notes, adequacy assessment and etc. to support the project scope
- Maintains close liaison with appropriate members of Engineering Teams and gains alignment with the Engineering Manager on project engineering needs, objectives, and requirements.
- Leads key design workshop and ensure that Process design recommendations are correctly implemented and actions closed (Lessons Learned, Value Engineering, HAZID,HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, engineering criticality assessment, etc.).
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts with respect to the disciplines involved in delivery of the Process Engineering and ensures endorsement of Process Technical deviations to Company specifications when required.
- Ensures quality assurance of the Process engineering and Flow Assurance activities deliverables is in accordance with the approved project execution schedule.
- General understanding of multi discipline engineering (mechanical/piping/ instrumentation /etc) and ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Contributes to the development of EPC Tender package development and technical evaluation.
- Accountable for being knowledgeable of lessons learned from previous projects with the same contractor and capturing and communicating Process engineering and design lessons learned for the current project.
- Ensure compliance with management of change procedures for changes in the Contractors design or deviations from the Company directives
- Assesses contractor capability and recommends additional technical support to address gaps
- Accountable for ensuring execution of work is technically aligned and in compliance with Company Operations, Policies, Standards of Business Conduct and Company Project Management System (COMPANYPMS).
- Accountable for knowledge of and sharing previous lessons learned, capturing and communicating current lessons learned to support review teams and future projects.
- Mentor and contribute to the development of of Qatari employees

**What you need to bring**
- Minimum of twenty (20) years oil and gas process engineering work experience of which a minimum of fifteen (15 years) of relevant experience (Offshore Oil & Gas Experience supervision level) and 5 years in the similar position.
- International project experience with Tier-1 EPC Contractors or Client, involved in the projects executing large offshore platforms (i.e. greenfield and brownfield work), pipelines and onshore.
- Sound knowledge of the project execution process in large-scale project environments (expenditure >US$ 1 Bn).
- Broad and extensive knowledge of:

- Oil and gas offshore projects (greenfield and brownfield) Engineering
- Indepth knowledge of Process engineering design
- Design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
- Offshore facilities design, engineering execution construction, and operations
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Chemical/Process engineering discipline
