**Position Summary**

The Procurement Officer performs the assigned duties to acquire material requirement, implements purchasing processes and practices, identifies new opportunities, drafts and negotiates purchase orders aligned with the business objectives, Identifies cost saving opportunities and develops required plans to achieve them, Searching for new suppliers.

**Principal Accountabilities**
- Ensures the Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) Cycle time is maintained as per the policies and procedures of procurement department.
- Maintains cost consciousness by getting a minimum of three quotations for each Purchase Order (PO).
- Ensures that the delivery of materials is agreed with the suppliers prior raising the Purchase Order (PO) and closing of the Purchase Order (PO).

**Minimum Requirements Education**
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering/ Business Administration or equivalent

**Knowledge**
- Good knowledge and participation experience in procurement, tenders and bid selection process
- Knowledge in financial, statistical and comparative analysis principles, techniques and formulas
- Proficient in MS Office Applications and other Microsoft tools
- Knowledge and strong experience on Hospitality/Entertainment Industry.
- ERP Experience Skills
- Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem solving abilities - Able to add value, reduce costs and input to business improvements
- Negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Communication Skills (oral and written) including presentation skills
- Maintains excellent relationships with vendor (suppliers and sub-contractors).
- Understands and conceptualizes the complex problems of procurement of goods, works and services
- Sets priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities
- Can perform at an advance level of Word, Excel, and Power Point
