**Job Summary**:
Lead Architectural Engineer is responsible for developing, managing, and recording technical aspects of the project. Working closely and managing departments on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production.

**Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to)**:

- Manage the design process from inception through concept, schematic design, detail design to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
- Follow up with the seniors for project deliverables, meeting overall project design schedules, as well as review and follow up and presenting design presentations.
- Ensure projects are completed with high levels of technical competency, understanding of the construction documentation.
- Liaise with clients, take down briefs and assist with concept designs and design development. Monitor the department workload and managing resources.
- Review architectural or engineering plans and all required documents.
- Follow up with the sub-consultants’ review / approved the necessary drawings / reports to obtain the client approval at all stage.
- Provide technical expertise in development or review of policies and procedures in relation to architectural, structures and systems and construction / safety code.
- Posses excellent knowledge of local design requirements and codes.
- Make sure all applicable building codes and ADA code follow regulations.
- Approve the drawings and plans made by the team validating approval for further process.
- Check and fix any issues that might occur on the design.
- Prepare the scope of work, specifications and drawings for tender documents.
- Act as intermediary between Client & the team.
- Work within constraining factors such as town planning legislation, environmental impact and project budget.
- Follow up with building permits and obtain municipal approval.
- Specify the requirements for the project
- Adapt plans according to circumstances and resolve any problems that may arise during construction.
- Ensure that the documents meet the municipal, company and client standards/ protocols.
- Provide the support and cooperation with the quality department requirements and audits.
- Provide the support and cooperation with the business development & tenders management activities when requested.

**Education & Experience**:

- Min. **15 years **of experience as an Architectural engineer
- **Must possess UPDA Grade-A.**
- **PMP** qualification.
- Proficient in the use of applicable design software such as **AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, Sketch Up, Photoshop, etc.**
- Knowing of building codes.

**Required Skills**:

- Team coordinating skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- A keen interest in the built environment and the dedication to see projects through to their conclusion.
- A keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to see the bigger picture of a project.

**Salary**: QAR5.00 - QAR6.00 per month
